Before their journey down to London for the 2012 Olympic Games, Boxers from Team Nigeria and Team Tanzania were located in Bradford for around 6 weeks prior to the Games.  The brand-new facilities of the Bradford Police and College Boxing Academy; located at Bradford College, were used as their base and training ground in the lead-up to the Games.  I joined them for a few of their training sessions, photos are below.

I have been working with the Bradford Police and College Boxing Academy for a few months now, photographing the Boxers as they go about their daily training sessions.  They have recently moved into a new £300,000 training facility, which also sees many other Athletes using the Boxing equipment.  Some of the Bradford Bulls Rugby Players came along today to carry out a training session, and I was on hand to photograph them.  A selection can be seen below.  Thoughts comments and feedback is welcomed and appreciated.  Enjoy!!  x

I have been selected along with a fellow student to work with/alongside the Bradford Police and College Boxing Academy, and photograph the Boxers whilst they train in preparation for competitions.  I went along recently for a test shoot with them just to have a little practice.  A handful of my favourite photos are below.  I am really looking forward to photographing the competitions.  Thoughts, comments and feedback are welcomed and appreciated.  Enjoy!!  x
